His fingers closed around the stone. It felt smooth and polished. He liked the way it felt in his hands. And when the sunlight hit it, he could see deep red streaks running through the shiny blackness. It was beautiful, he realized.

I belonged to Qui-Gon Jinn, who found me in the River of Light. He gave me to Obi-Wan. I liked Obi-Wan. Lots. I had my own pocket and everything! But then he gave me to his silly Padawan. He abuses me, sometimes, but he doesn't realize it. Heck, he's even lost me once!
...Stupid Padawan.
